How do I qualify for medical marijuana?
Before purchasing cannabis from a medical marijuana treatment center (or dispensary), Florida patients must first qualify for a medical marijuana certification; MD Marijuana Card Express provides qualified patients with the state-required recommendation to complete this process. How much does it cost to obtain medical marijuana card?
If you’re a first-time patient, our appointment fee is $249. Renewal appointments are $169. (Note: Florida law requires patients to complete a renewal appointment every 210 days.) However, MD Marijuana Card Express is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members. Patients may also save up to $75 a year by referring friends and family! Please note: The Florida Department of Health charges a separate $75 fee.
Do I have to be 18 in order to obtain an evaluation?
No, but you need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Will My Insurance Cover This?
Unfortunately, medical insurance, in the state of Florida, does not cover any kind of medical marijuana treatments as of right now.
How Often Do I have to Renew?

Does my Condition Qualify?
You can find a list of the qualifying conditions on the top of our home page. It is up to the doctor to approve you, so if you have seen a physician in the past for your condition, it helps to have your medical records for the same-day doctor’s approval. We have a medical release form you can fill out and sign, we can send it to your doctor’s offices to pull your records, if needed.
